Mobile workstation with 4 TB storage

The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-6700HQ quad-core processor reaching 3.5 GHz. It carries 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 4 TB solid-state drive. The NVIDIA Quadro M1000M graphics card drives a 1920 x 1080 IPS display. Windows 7 Professional comes pre-installed and a fingerprint reader handles secure login.

Professionals needing ISV-certified apps

This machine targets engineers and designers who rely on ISV-certified applications for 3D rendering and heavy multitasking. The Quadro GPU and 4 TB capacity suit large project files and local datasets. Buyers who require a touchscreen or a newer operating system should consider other options.

4 TB solid-state drive capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 4 TB solid-state drive. It determines whether the laptop can hold your full working set without external storage. If your projects exceed that space you will need a different configuration.
