Mobile workstation for rendering and AI

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. An Intel Core i7-9750H with six cores and 12MB cache reaches 4.5 GHz turbo for compute-heavy tasks. The NVIDIA Quadro T2000 with 4GB video memory drives the FHD IPS display. A fingerprint reader and dTPM encryption secure business data.

Dual-drive storage with 32GB DDR4

The system ships with a 256GB NVME drive plus a 1TB 2.5 inch SSD for combined capacity and fast boot. 32GB DDR4 memory handles large datasets and multitasking without paging. The 500-nit 1920x1080 panel covers 72% colour gamut with HDR Dolby Vision for accurate visual work. Non-touch anti-glare coating suits bright environments.

ThinkShield security and WiFi-6 connectivity

Discrete TPM encrypts data at hardware level while Windows 10 Pro manages device policies. WiFi-6 certification maintains throughput in dense wireless environments. Dolby Atmos speakers provide clear audio for conferencing. The 15.6 inch chassis balances portability with the thermal headroom needed for sustained Quadro workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 256GB NVME drive work inside my older laptop that only takes 2.5 inch drives?

The 256GB NVME drive uses a different physical connector than 2.5 inch drives, so it will not fit in a bay or caddy designed for the larger form factor.

How can I verify the Quadro T2000 4GB GPU is active after installing drivers?

Open Windows Device Manager, expand Display adapters, and confirm NVIDIA Quadro T2000 appears with 4 GB dedicated video memory listed in its properties.

Does the box include a second 2.5 inch drive caddy for the 1TB SSD, or must I buy one separately?

The 1TB 2.5 inch SSD is already installed, so no extra caddy is needed; the package supplies the laptop, AC adapter, and standard documentation only.
