Suits engineers needing certified drivers

This system targets professionals who rely on ISV-certified Quadro drivers for CAD, simulation or AI workloads and who need 128 GB RAM with dual high-capacity drives on the move. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a consumer GeForce GPU, or a lighter ultrabook form factor should look at something else.

128 GB DDR4 memory capacity

The installed 128 GB DDR4 configuration is the specification that determines whether this unit can hold your working set without paging. Verify that your applications and OS can address this amount before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" chassis accept a standard 2.5" drive for the 2TB HDD?

The 15.6" ThinkPad P53 includes a 2TB HDD installed in the internal 2.5" bay, so no extra bracket or caddy is required.

How do I install Windows 10 Pro on the 2TB NVME, and what step is often missed?

Boot from the Windows 10 Pro media, select the 2TB NVME as the target, and remember to enable the Intel VMD controller in BIOS so the installer sees the drive.

When will the 128GB DDR4 memory need replacement or service?

The 128GB DDR4 is soldered and not user-replaceable; plan for a motherboard swap only if a memory fault is diagnosed.
