Mobile workstation with hexa-core processor

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor that reaches 4.5 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 64GB DDR4 memory and a combined 2TB NVME plus 2TB 2.5-inch SSD storage array. The system runs Linux Mint and includes a fingerprint reader for biometric login.

Sustained rendering and AI workloads

The NVIDIA Quadro T2000 with 4GB video memory supports extended compute tasks such as rendering and data-intensive AI projects. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display covers 72% colour gamut at 300 nits brightness and uses anti-glare coating for long sessions. WiFi-6 certification helps maintain throughput in crowded radio environments without buffering.

Standard workstation deployment

The chassis integrates a discrete Trusted Platform Module for hardware encryption alongside the fingerprint sensor. Dolby Atmos speakers provide audio output without external hardware. Buyers who need a second discrete GPU or additional internal drive bays beyond the two installed SSDs should verify expansion options before purchase.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Core i7-9750H get when rendering all day?

The six-core processor runs at 2.60 GHz base and can reach 4.5 GHz turbo, so sustained loads will raise fan speed and chassis temperature; the workstation-class cooling is built for this thermal envelope.

What must I already own to use the 2 TB NVME and 2 TB 2.5-inch SSD storage?

The laptop ships with both drives installed and Linux Mint configured, so no extra storage hardware is required to start working.

Will the Quadro T2000 4 GB drive my older 1080p monitor over HDMI?

The 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel is 1920 x 1080 at 300 nits and 72 % colour gamut; external 1080p displays connect through the available video outputs without scaling issues.
