Mobile workstation for data-intensive tasks

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a new 15.6-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who render, model or run data-intensive AI workloads. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and includes a fingerprint reader for biometric login.

Hexa-core processor with 4.5 GHz turbo

The Intel Core i7-9750H delivers six cores, 12MB cache and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.5 GHz, providing the single-thread speed and multi-thread throughput that decides whether this machine fits your compute pipeline.

Ready to deploy with dual-drive storage

The system arrives configured with 64GB DDR4 memory and a combined 2TB NVME plus 2TB 2.5-inch SSD, so no drive installation is required. Buyers who need more internal bays or a higher-colour-gamut panel should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.5 GHz turbo speed behave when the six-core i7-9750H is inside the P53 chassis?

The processor can reach 4.5 GHz on a single core while thermals allow; sustained all-core speeds will be lower because the mobile workstation cooling must balance heat and noise.

What does the NVMe label on the 2 TB drive tell me about the interface and practical throughput?

NVMe means the drive uses a PCIe interface, so sequential transfers run at multi-gigabyte-per-second rates instead of being limited by an older storage protocol.

Will the 15.6 inch FHD IPS panel fit a standard ThinkPad P53 hinge and bezel assembly?

Yes, the 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display is the factory panel size for this model, so it matches the existing hinge points and bezel cutout exactly.
