Lenovo ThinkPad P53 mobile workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6" mobile workstation running Linux Mint on an Intel Core i7-9850H six-core processor. It combines 32GB of DDR4 memory with a 1TB NVME drive and a 2TB 2.5 inch SSD. The NVIDIA Quadro T2000 4GB GPU drives the FHD IPS display for professional workflows.

Suited for engineers and creators on Linux

This system suits developers, CAD users and data scientists who need a certified Linux environment with ISV-tested Quadro drivers and a fingerprint reader for login security. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a higher refresh panel or a larger GPU memory buffer should look at other configurations.

1TB NVME plus 2TB 2.5 inch SSD storage

The single specification that decides fit is the dual-drive layout: a 1TB NVME device paired with a 2TB 2.5 inch SSD. This topology gives a fast boot volume and a high-capacity secondary volume without occupying an additional M.2 slot.
