Mobile workstation for certified apps

The Lenovo ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor with four cores and a turbo frequency of 3.8 GHz. It carries 64 GB of DDR4 memory at 2400 MHz and a 500 GB solid state drive. The NVIDIA Quadro M620 graphics card provides 2 GB of video memory. Windows 7 Professional comes pre-installed.

Verify OS and port needs

This unit ships with Windows 7 Professional, an operating system that no longer receives security updates from Microsoft. Confirm that your required applications and any ISV certifications you rely on still support this platform. Check that the available physical ports match the peripherals and external displays you plan to connect before ordering.

Fingerprint reader and ISV certification

The integrated fingerprint reader enables biometric sign-in for faster, password-free access to the system. ISV certification across over 100 applications means the hardware and drivers have been tested for stability in professional workflows such as 3D rendering and engineering simulation. These features reduce setup time for supported software stacks.
