Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 is a 14-inch Windows 11 Pro notebook built for everyday office work and video calls. It ships with an Intel Core i5-1145G7 4-core processor, 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. The matte 1920 x 1080 display is non-touch and suited to document editing.

Integrated graphics limit heavy visual workloads

Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory and handle typical productivity apps and 1080p playback smoothly. The panel specification lists a 3840 x 2160 option, but this unit delivers 1080p resolution. Demanding 3D rendering, modern gaming or multi-monitor 4K output will exceed the integrated GPU capability.

Durable chassis with noted battery constraint

ThinkPad construction meets military-grade durability tests for shock, vibration and temperature extremes. The keyboard offers the traditional deep travel and TrackPoint navigation. This unit is sold as new with low battery health, meaning unplugged runtime will be significantly reduced and mains power is essential for full-day mobility.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16 GB DDR4 / 256 GB SSD configuration or look for a larger drive?

The unit ships with 16 GB DDR4 and a 256 GB SSD; if you store large media libraries locally, plan to add external storage or replace the drive.

What does the Core i5-1145G7 4.40 GHz boost mean for everyday workloads?

The quad-core processor reaches 4.40 GHz on short bursts, so office apps, web browsing and video calls stay responsive while sustained loads run at lower clocks.

Does the 1920 x 1080 panel limit external display options?

The built-in screen is 1920 x 1080; Intel Iris Xe Graphics can drive higher-resolution external monitors through the available video outputs.
