ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 overview

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 is a 14.0-inch ultrabook built for mobile professionals who need a durable chassis, a touch-enabled IPS panel and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. Its quad-core Intel Core i5-10310U processor reaches 4.40 GHz turbo frequency and includes 6 MB L3 cache. The system ships with 8 GB of DDR4 2666 memory soldered on board and one free SO-DIMM slot for expansion up to 48 GB total.

4 TB SSD capacity and headroom

A single 4 TB solid-state drive provides ample space for large project files, local databases and extensive media libraries without relying on external storage. The M.2 2242 form factor limits future upgrades to drives of that specific length, so capacity cannot be expanded beyond the installed unit. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory, which is sufficient for productivity and video playback but not for 3D rendering or gaming workloads.

Thermals noise and power draw

The 10th Gen quad-core CPU operates at a 1.7 GHz base clock and 4.40 GHz turbo within a thin-and-light design, so sustained heavy loads will trigger fan spin and warm surface temperatures. Under typical office tasks such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing the system runs quietly with modest power draw. The included OEM AC adapter supplies sufficient power for normal use and battery charging.
