ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 15.6" Touch Ultrabook

This 15.6 inch laptop pairs a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10310U quad-core processor with a Full HD IPS touchscreen. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets professionals who need a reliable mobile workstation for office applications and video calls. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory for everyday visual tasks.

8 GB DDR4 Memory and 4 TB SSD Storage

The system includes 8 GB of onboard DDR4 2666 memory with one available slot supporting expansion up to 48 GB total. A 4 TB solid-state drive provides generous capacity for large project files, local databases and media libraries. Heavy multitasking or virtualisation workloads will benefit from a memory upgrade beyond the factory configuration.

Thermals and Power in Daily Use

The ultrabook chassis manages heat from the 1.7 GHz base clock and 4.40 GHz turbo frequency during typical productivity loads. Fan noise remains low during document editing and web browsing but increases under sustained multi-core activity. The included OEM AC adapter supplies power through the Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C ports for convenient charging.

Questions about this item

Will my existing USB-A and HDMI 1.4b peripherals work with the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 and HDMI 1.4b ports on the T15 Gen 1?

The laptop provides three USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one HDMI 1.4b output, so USB-A devices need adapters or cables while HDMI 1.4b monitors connect directly.

How can I verify the i5-10310U is reaching its 4.40 GHz turbo and the 4 TB SSD is recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager to watch the CPU hit 4.40 GHz under load and confirm the 4 TB drive appears in File Explorer and Disk Management.

Does the box contain the AC adapter, and must I buy a microSD card or Nano-SIM separately for the optional slots?

The package includes the OEM AC adapter and Windows 11 Pro; microSD cards and Nano-SIMs for the optional readers are not supplied.
