14-inch Touch Ultrabook for Mobile Professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 delivers a 14.0-inch FHD IPS touchscreen driven by a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10510U quad-core processor. With 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 4 TB SSD, it serves professionals who need responsive multitasking and ample local storage in a compact chassis. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Efficient Thermals and Low Noise Profile

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics share system memory, keeping power draw modest during typical office workloads. The ultrabook form factor relies on a single fan design that remains quiet during light productivity tasks such as document editing or video conferencing. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth connectivity maintain steady wireless links without taxing the thermal envelope.

Durable Chassis with Versatile Docking Options

The black or silver finish covers a robust build tested to military-grade standards, while the side docking connector simplifies desk setups. Ports include three USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one Thunderbolt 3 port, HDMI 1.4b, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Optional microSD, smart card, and Nano-SIM slots expand utility for field work without adding bulk.

Questions about this item

How do I add a second M.2 2242 SSD to the single slot and which screw do I reuse?

The board has one M.2 2242 slot; it is already occupied by the 4 TB drive, so adding a second drive requires replacing the existing module and reusing its mounting screw.

Which memory module will need replacement first and what is the maximum supported capacity?

The single removable 8 GB DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM is the only user-replaceable memory; the other 8 GB is soldered, and the system supports up to 48 GB total.

What limits sustained performance first — the 1.8 GHz base clock or the integrated graphics sharing 16 GB RAM?

The Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory, so extended heavy workloads are constrained by the 16 GB total RAM and the 6 MB L3 cache on the quad-core i7-10510U.
