ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 Intel business laptop

The ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 with an Intel Core i7-10510U processor is built for professionals who need a reliable 14.0 inch device. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and includes a fingerprint reader with match-on-chip security. The quad-core CPU and 16GB of DDR4 2666 memory handle office workloads and multitasking.

FHD IPS anti-glare display and integrated graphics

The 1920 x 1080 non-touch screen uses an IPS panel rated at 250 nits with an anti-glare coating for comfortable viewing in varied lighting. Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory, so the 16GB RAM allocation supports both system tasks and video output. The 512GB PCIe SSD provides the primary storage and boot volume.

Windows 10 Pro and biometric security included

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit delivers business management features such as BitLocker and Remote Desktop without extra licences. The touch-style fingerprint reader enables Windows Hello sign-in and stores credentials on the match-on-chip sensor. These bundled features reduce the need for separate security hardware or software subscriptions.

Questions about this item

How does the i7-10510U handle sustained workloads with shared Intel UHD graphics memory?

The 10510U uses shared system memory for Intel UHD Graphics, so sustained loads draw from the same 16 GB DDR4 2666 pool that the CPU uses.

What thermal or acoustic behaviour should I expect when the 14.0" IPS 250 nits panel runs all day?

The 250-nit IPS display and UHD graphics share the chassis cooling; fan activity will rise with combined CPU and GPU load during extended sessions.

Which memory standard must already be in my toolkit to service or expand the 16 GB configuration?

The system uses DDR4 2666 SODIMM modules, so any upgrade or replacement requires compatible DDR4 sticks.
