14" WQHD ThinkPad for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T470s pairs an Intel Core i7-7500U processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 14.0" IPS WQHD matte display running at 2560 x 1440 resolution provides sharp visuals for document work and presentations. Integrated LTE-A WWAN connectivity keeps you online away from Wi-Fi networks. Windows 10 Pro, a fingerprint reader and smart card reader complete the business feature set.

No internal upgrades; external ports handle

Memory is soldered to the board so the 8GB capacity cannot be increased after purchase. Storage uses a removable NVMe module if you later need a larger drive. Thunderbolt over USB-C delivers up to 40 Gbps for docks or external GPUs. Four USB ports plus Bluetooth 4.1 cover most peripherals without adapters. The UltraNav touchpad and backlit keyboard require no driver hunting on a clean Windows 10 Pro install.

Verify LTE bands and charger before ordering

Confirm that the installed WWAN card supports the frequency bands used by your carrier in the regions you travel to. Check that the included AC adapter matches your local mains voltage and plug type. The 2.9 lbs upper weight figure includes the battery; ensure your bag or sleeve accommodates the 14" chassis. No mechanical hard drive bay exists, so secondary bulk storage must be external or cloud-based.
