Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 14 inch touchscreen

This new business laptop runs on an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with 16GB of memory. It stores data on a 512GB NVME drive and ships with Windows 11 Pro. The 14 inch display supports touch input for flexible interaction.

Professionals needing a portable Windows machine

It suits mobile workers who value the ThinkPad keyboard and a compact 14 inch form factor. Buyers who want more storage capacity or a larger screen should look at other models. Users requiring discrete graphics performance for heavy rendering will need a different class of device.

512GB NVME solid state drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 512GB NVME drive. It determines how much local data the system can hold at speed. If your workflow demands a larger internal volume, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 512GB NVME drive, and which step do people often miss?

The 512GB NVME drive is already fitted from the factory; no installation is required. The common mistake is trying to open the chassis to add a second drive that the board does not support.

What maintenance will the 16GB memory need later?

The 16GB memory is soldered to the board, so it cannot be upgraded or replaced. Routine care is limited to keeping the vents clear of dust.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the i7-1185G7?

The i7-1185G7 will hit its thermal ceiling first, causing the processor to throttle clocks to stay within safe temperatures.
