Built for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 is a 14.0-inch business laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It targets users who need a reliable daily driver for office applications, video calls and document handling. The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and non-touch IPS panel suit standard productivity workflows. It is not intended for buyers who want discrete graphics performance or a larger screen.

Memory and storage headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory handles typical multitasking with browser tabs, spreadsheets and collaboration tools. The 512 GB PCIe NVMe drive provides fast boot and application loading for a standard software set. The board supports up to 48 GB total, so future expansion is possible. Heavy local data sets or virtual machines will fill the drive quickly.

Connectivity and expansion

Two USB ports and one HDMI output cover essential peripherals and an external display. Thunderbolt 4 adds high-speed dock and storage options through the same connector. Integrated 802.11AX Wi-Fi keeps wireless links stable in busy offices. The backlit keyboard and 720p webcam support late hours and remote meetings. Buyers needing multiple legacy ports or a second external monitor from the laptop alone will need a dock.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.0 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display and Thunderbolt 4 ports work with my existing dock and monitors?

The 14 inch IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 and the system includes Thunderbolt 4, so it will drive external displays and docks that accept those connections.

How can I verify the Core i7-1185G7 quad-core processor and 16GB DDR4 memory are running correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab to confirm the i7-1185G7 shows four cores with 12 MB cache and that 16 GB DDR4 is detected at speed.

Does the box include the Windows 11 Pro licence and backlit keyboard, or must I buy them separately?

Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated, and the backlit keyboard is built into the chassis; nothing extra is required for either feature.
