ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 Business Laptop

The ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 is a 14-inch notebook built for professionals who need a durable daily driver. It ships with Windows and targets office workers, field staff and mobile users who value the series' reputation for reliability. The black chassis follows the classic ThinkPad design language.

16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD capacity

Sixteen gigabytes of memory provides comfortable headroom for typical business workloads such as email, browser tabs, video calls and office suites. The 512 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system, applications and a solid local file library. Heavy virtualisation, large media projects or extensive local databases will eventually push both memory and storage limits.

Upgrade from older ultraportables

This model replaces ageing 13-inch or early 14-inch ultraportables that struggle with modern multitasking and connectivity. The jump is worth it when your current laptop lacks Thunderbolt, runs out of RAM during the workday or shows physical wear after travel. Buyers who need a larger screen, discrete graphics or user-replaceable memory should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 14-inch 1920x1080 ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 drive my older 1080p monitor over Thunderbolt?

Yes, the Thunderbolt port carries video so a 1920x1080 external display works without an extra adapter.

How do I confirm the i5-1135G7 and 16 GB RAM are active after first boot?

Open Task Manager → Performance; you will see four cores at 2.40 GHz and 16 GB memory reported.

Does the 20W00091US include a charger and what cables must I buy separately?

The box contains the laptop and its USB-C power adapter; any Thunderbolt or USB-C cables for peripherals are sold separately.
