Business 14-inch touch laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 is a new 14.0 inch business laptop with a WUXGA IPS touchscreen running at 60Hz. It is powered by a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1365U vPro processor with P-cores up to 5.20 GHz and E-cores up to 3.90 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of soldered DDR5-4800MHz memory and a 512 GB SSD.

Suits mobile professionals needing vPro

This device suits IT-managed fleets and mobile professionals who value the Intel vPro platform for remote deployment and security features. The 300-nit anti-glare touch display supports pen input for annotation work. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere, as this model relies on integrated Intel UHD Graphics.

Soldered 16 GB DDR5 memory is not upgradeable

The single specification that decides fit is the 16 GB DDR5-4800MHz memory soldered to the motherboard. This capacity cannot be increased after purchase, so workloads requiring more RAM need a different configuration. The 512 GB SSD provides the primary storage, and the chassis uses 90 percent recycled magnesium in the C-frame.

Questions about this item

When will the soldered 16 GB DDR5 memory need to be upgraded?

The 16 GB DDR5-4800MHz memory is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded later.

What thermal limit appears first during sustained workloads on the i7-1365U vPro?

The processor P-cores reach 5.20 GHz and E-cores 3.90 GHz; sustained loads will hit the chip's thermal ceiling before the 60 Hz panel or 300 nits brightness become factors.

How loud and hot does the laptop get when running all day on battery?

The 14" WUXGA IPS touch screen runs at 60 Hz and 300 nits; integrated Intel UHD Graphics and the 512 GB SSD produce modest heat, while the lithium-polymer battery supports all-day use without active cooling noise dominating.
