Professional mobile workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 combines a quad-core Intel Core i7-10610U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD. A 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen running Windows 11 Pro supports precise input for data review and creative tasks. Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI outputs enable multi-display setups for office or field work.

Thermals and power profile

The 15W quad-core CPU sustains performance for typical productivity workloads without aggressive fan noise. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics keeps power draw modest during document editing, video calls and light media playback. A 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port and Wifi 6 provide stable connectivity while the system manages thermal output quietly.

Bundled connectivity and security

Windows 11 Pro delivers enterprise-grade encryption, remote management and update control out of the box. One USB-C port supports Thunderbolt 3 for high-speed storage and dual 4K displays while another provides Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a micro SD reader, combo audio jack and side docking connector cover legacy peripherals; buyers needing additional USB-A ports or a full-size SD slot should verify adapter requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2TB NVMe SSD and what step is often missed?

The 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD is factory-installed in the M.2 slot. If adding a second drive, enable the new drive in BIOS after physical installation.

What maintenance will the 16GB DDR4 memory need later?

The 16GB DDR4 is soldered and not user-upgradable. Keep vents clear and run Windows 11 Pro updates to maintain thermal performance.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the i7-10610U?

The 15W quad-core i7-10610U with Intel UHD Graphics will hit thermal throttling before power limits under continuous heavy workloads.
