Professional mobile workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance on the move. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a quad-core Intel Core i7-10610U processor with a 1.80 GHz turbo frequency and 8 MB L3 cache. The system includes 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD for fast boot and load times. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives the 1920 x 1080 Full HD LED display.

Connectivity and expansion

Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports handle standard peripherals while one port stays powered for charging devices offline. A USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 port adds Power Delivery and DisplayPort output for a single-cable dock setup. The USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 port provides Thunderbolt 3 for high-speed storage or dual 4K monitors. Gigabit Ethernet, Wifi 6, HDMI, a micro SD reader and a side docking connector complete the I/O without needing extra adapters.

Thermals and acoustics

The 15-watt processor and integrated graphics keep heat output modest during typical office workloads such as document editing, video calls and web browsing. Fan noise stays low in these scenarios and the chassis remains comfortable on a desk or lap. Sustained multi-core tasks will raise temperatures and spin the fan higher, but the thermal design handles the rated power without throttling under normal business use.

Questions about this item

How long does the battery last when the Intel Core i7-10610U runs at full load all day?

The 15W processor and integrated Intel UHD Graphics draw modest power, so the internal battery supports a full workday of typical office tasks; heavy sustained loads will reduce runtime.

Does the fan stay quiet and the chassis cool during continuous 8-thread workloads?

Quad-core Comet Lake silicon at 15W keeps thermals manageable; the cooling system runs near-silent for light work and spins up only under prolonged heavy compute.

Which dock or monitor cables are required to use the Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI ports?

A Thunderbolt 3 cable drives two 4K displays or one 5K panel and provides Power Delivery, while a standard HDMI cable connects a single external monitor.
