Business laptop with i7-10510U

The ThinkPad T15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-10510U quad-core processor. It comes with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The anti-glare display reaches 250 nits brightness and runs Windows 10 Professional 64-bit out of the box.

Upgraded memory and storage with HDMI cable

This unit is upgraded from a base model; the manufacturer box was opened and resealed to install the 32GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. A one-year warranty covers the upgraded RAM and SSD from the installer, while the original one-year Lenovo warranty covers the remaining components. An HDMI cable is bundled in the package.

Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity

Connectivity includes one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 Thunderbolt 3 port, one USB 3.2 Type-C port with Power Delivery and DisplayPort, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI, RJ-45, a microSD card slot and an audio combo jack. Wi-Fi 6 provides modern wireless performance. There is no SIM card slot, so cellular connectivity is not available.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR4 memory or the 1 TB PCIe SSD be upgraded later?

Both components use standard slots — the DDR4 SO-DIMM and the M.2 2280 NVMe drive — so you can swap in higher-capacity modules when needed.

What thermal limit appears first when the Core i7-10510U runs at its 4.9 GHz turbo for long periods?

The 15 W sustained power envelope of the U-series chip forces the processor to drop below max turbo once the cooling system saturates.

How loud and hot does the T15 get during an all-day workload with the 250 nit IPS display active?

The single fan remains at a moderate office-friendly level while the keyboard deck and bottom surface stay warm but comfortable for extended typing.
