Business laptop with 16-inch touchscreen

The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 is a business laptop built around a 16.0-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen and a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1260P processor. It delivers 12 cores and 16 threads with 18 MB cache, paired with 32GB DDR4 3200MHz memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the display and up to three external monitors.

Upgrade from smaller or older ultraportables

This model replaces 15.6-inch ultraportables that limit screen space or 17.3-inch units that add bulk. The jump is worth it when you need the 1920 x 1200 touchscreen for precise input and the 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports for high-speed docks or storage. It also adds Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for modern wireless environments.

Sustained workloads with 52.5Wh battery

Under continuous load the 52.5Wh battery supports up to 11.1 hours of use and rapid charge reaches 80% in one hour. The chassis measures 14.25 x 10.06 x 0.81 inches at 3.61 lbs, keeping thermals managed during long compile, render or video-conference sessions. A 1080p webcam with privacy shutter and Dolby Audio complete the all-day toolkit.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions and weight of the 16.0" ThinkPad T16?

The laptop measures 14.25" x 10.06" x 0.81" and weighs 3.61 lbs, making it slimmer and lighter than a 17.3" model while offering a larger display than a 15.6" T15.

How is the 32GB DDR4 3200MHz memory configured and can it be upgraded?

It uses a mixed layout with 16GB soldered to the board and a 16GB SODIMM in the single slot; only that SODIMM can be replaced, so maximum capacity is limited to the soldered 16GB plus one module.

What battery life and charging speed does the 52.5Wh pack provide?

Up to 11.1 hours of runtime with Rapid Charge reaching 80% in 1 hour from the supplied power adapter.
