Portable 16-inch business laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 combines a 16.0-inch WUXGA touchscreen with a 12-core Intel Core i7-1260P processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD in a 3.61 lbs chassis. It runs Windows 11 Pro and includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 6E, a 1080p webcam with privacy shutter and a fingerprint reader for secure login.

Suited to mobile professionals needing touch

This configuration serves users who want a larger 16:10 display, stylus-ready touch input and two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports for multi-monitor docks. Buyers who need discrete graphics for heavy 3D rendering, a higher refresh-rate panel, or a smaller 14-inch footprint for tighter airline trays should consider other form factors.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 52.5 Wh battery supports up to 11.1 hours of mixed use and Rapid Charge reaches 80% capacity in one hour. Under continuous multi-core load the 12-core processor balances performance and efficiency cores while Intel Iris Xe graphics drives up to three external 4K displays at 60 Hz via HDMI and Thunderbolt 4 without thermal throttling in the slim 0.81-inch profile.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy any RAM modules or storage drives before using the 32GB DDR4 3200MHz and 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD?

No, the laptop ships with 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory (16GB soldered plus 16GB SODIMM) and a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD already installed.

Will my older USB-A peripherals work with the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports?

Yes, the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports accept standard USB-A plugs so existing mice, keyboards and external drives connect directly.

How can I verify the 16.0" WUXGA touchscreen is operating at its native 1920 x 1200 resolution and 300 nits brightness?
