Product identity

The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 1 is a 16.0 inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5-1235U processor running at 1.30 GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 512GB solid-state drive and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics driving a 1920 x 1200 non-touch display. The unit weighs 3.6400 kg and includes a webcam for video calls. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Setup checks

Verify that your existing peripherals and docking stations use connectors compatible with this model before ordering. Confirm that your software licences and workflows are supported on Windows 11 Pro. The system provides 16GB of soldered DDR4 memory and a single 512GB drive bay, so plan storage and memory requirements accordingly. No optical drive is present.

Thermals and power

The 12 W i5-1235U and integrated Iris Xe graphics keep heat output modest during typical office workloads such as document editing, web browsing and video playback. Fan activity remains low in these scenarios, producing minimal acoustic distraction. Under sustained multi-core load the cooling system ramps up noticeably but stays within normal notebook limits. The supplied power adapter handles peak draw without issue.
