16-inch touchscreen laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 1 pairs a 12-core Intel Core i7-1260P processor with a 16.0-inch WUXGA IPS touch display. Thirty-two gigabytes of soldered DDR4-3200 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD handle demanding workloads. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 1920 x 1200 panel at 300 nits brightness. Windows Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Verify memory expansion and port requirements

Memory is partially soldered; one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot supports up to 48 GB total capacity. The 1 TB M.2 2280 drive is the only internal storage bay, so plan external backups if more space is needed. Confirm your peripherals match the available USB-C and USB-A ports before ordering. The 65 W USB-C adapter is the sole power input.

Cooling and acoustics under typical loads

The 52.5 Wh battery and 65 W adapter indicate modest power draw for mainstream productivity. The slim 20.5 mm chassis uses a hybrid polymer and carbon-fibre top cover with a PPS base to dissipate heat. Fan noise stays low during office tasks and video playback. Surface temperatures remain comfortable during extended typing sessions.
