Portable productivity laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T450 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by a dual-core Intel Core i5-5300U processor running at 2.3 GHz. It comes with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a 512GB SSD for responsive everyday computing. The non-touch display offers a 1366 x 768 resolution with LED backlighting and integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate use.

Thermals noise and power

The low-power Broadwell architecture of the i5-5300U processor helps maintain modest heat output and quiet fan behaviour during typical office workloads. Integrated graphics share system memory, avoiding the extra thermal load of a discrete GPU. The 512GB SSD operates silently and draws less power than a mechanical hard drive. Together these components support reasonable battery life for mobile working.

Included accessories and software

The package supplies the laptop, a compatible charger and an installed battery so the system is ready to run out of the box. Windows 10 Pro provides business-oriented features such as BitLocker encryption and remote desktop hosting without extra licences. A 4-in-1 card reader accepts SD, SDHC, SDXC and MultiMediaCard media for quick file transfers. Three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and a Mini DisplayPort handle common peripherals and external displays.
