Lenovo ThinkPad T450 14.0" Windows 10 Home

This Lenovo ThinkPad T450 is a 14.0-inch laptop running Windows 10 Home 64-bit. It is built around an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.30GHz with 8GB of DDR3L memory and a 128GB SATA SSD. The unit is supplied new in Grade C condition with an AC adapter included.

Suits office work and study.

The configuration handles everyday office applications, web browsing and study tasks without difficulty. Buyers who want more storage for large media libraries or need a dedicated graphics processor for video editing or 3D work should look at something else. The integrated graphics and 128GB capacity set the practical limits.

128GB SATA 2.5" SSD decides fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 128GB SATA 2.5-inch SSD. It determines how much software and data you can keep locally before adding external drives or cloud storage. Memory can be expanded to 16GB maximum, but the drive capacity is fixed unless you replace it.

Questions about this item

How does the 128 GB SATA SSD perform in daily use?

The 128 GB SATA SSD delivers faster boot, application loading and file access than a traditional hard drive, with no moving parts for silent operation and lower power draw.

What does the SATA 2.5" interface mean for this 128 GB drive?

The 128 GB drive connects through the laptop's SATA 2.5" slot, so throughput is limited to the SATA bus rather than a faster PCIe lane.

What physical drive size does the T450 accept for storage upgrades?

The system uses a 2.5-inch SATA form factor, so any replacement or additional drive must match that size and interface.
