Ready-to-deploy business laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480 is a 14.0-inch FHD notebook powered by an Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor reaching 3.50 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory across two slots and a new 2 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. No operating system is pre-installed so the buyer can load their preferred environment.

Suits IT teams standardising on a single chassis

Organisations that want a uniform 14-inch platform with user-replaceable memory and storage will find the T480 fits existing deployment scripts and dock ecosystems. Buyers who need a touchscreen, discrete graphics or a pre-loaded Windows licence should look at other configurations.

Deciding spec: 2 TB NVMe PCIe SSD

The single specification that determines fit is the 2 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe solid-state drive. It provides the capacity and protocol speed required for large local datasets, virtual machines or offline media libraries without relying on external storage.
