Product identity

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0 inch touchscreen laptop with an Intel Core i7 8th Gen processor running at 1.80GHz. It comes with 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display supports touch input and the system runs Windows 11 Pro. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output.

Setup checks

Confirm that 8GB of memory meets your workload requirements because the single memory slot limits future expansion. The 128GB SSD capacity may range between 120GB and 128GB so verify this is sufficient for your applications and files. Ensure Windows 11 Pro compatibility with any specialist software you rely on. The unit has no optical drive and the supplier notes expansion slot covers may be absent.

Buyer fit

Suits professionals needing a portable 14 inch business laptop with touchscreen and a Core i7 processor for general productivity. The 8GB memory and 128GB SSD fit light office tasks and web-based workflows. Not for buyers who want more storage or memory headroom for heavy multitasking. Not for users who require a discrete graphics processor for creative or engineering applications. Not for anyone who needs an optical drive or a pristine cosmetic appearance.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a charger, and is the RAM soldered or upgradeable?

The laptop ships with a power adapter. Memory is soldered to the board and there is one SODIMM slot free, so you can add a module up to the platform limit.

Should I pick the 128 GB drive or look for a larger capacity?

The installed drive is 128 GB. If you keep large media libraries or many virtual machines, choose a 240 GB to 256 GB or 480 GB to 512 GB option instead.

How does the Intel UHD Graphics 620 perform in daily office work on the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen?

The integrated GPU drives the 14.0 inch FHD panel smoothly for documents, web browsing and video playback; it is not suited for 3D gaming or heavy GPU compute.
