Built for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0 inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with 12GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It includes a fingerprint reader, 4G LTE WWAN, and a matte IPS display at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Thunderbolt 3 and Bluetooth 4.1 provide modern connectivity.

Suits travelers needing integrated 4G

This configuration serves professionals who require always-on connectivity away from Wi-Fi and value the security of a match-on-chip fingerprint reader with ThinkShutter webcam cover. MIL-SPEC testing supports durability for frequent transport. Buyers who want a touchscreen or larger screen should look elsewhere.

Deciding spec: 4G LTE WWAN included

The factory-installed WWAN module lets you insert a compatible SIM card for mobile broadband without extra hardware. This single feature separates this unit from otherwise identical T480s models that rely solely on Wi-Fi or tethering. Verify carrier band compatibility before purchase.
