Thermals noise and power in daily use

The system uses integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics, which keeps heat and fan noise low during typical office workloads. Its chassis has passed 21 MIL-SPEC tests for durability in harsh environments. The 1.60 GHz base clock and efficient 8th generation architecture help maintain cool, quiet operation.

Deciding specification 4G LTE WWAN

This unit includes a 4G LTE WWAN module for cellular connectivity wherever a signal exists. Buyers who do not need mobile broadband should consider a configuration without it. The laptop also provides Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C for high-speed docking and data transfer.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 24 GB DDR4 memory and what step is often missed?

The 24 GB DDR4 is factory-fitted and not user-upgradable, so no installation is required and there is no step to miss.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1 TB NVMe SSD need later?

The 1 TB NVMe SSD has no moving parts and requires no scheduled maintenance; replace it only if it fails or you need more capacity.

What limit appears first on the i5-8250U during sustained loads?

The Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics share system memory and thermal headroom with the CPU, so graphics performance drops before the NVMe SSD or Bluetooth 4.1 are affected.
