Business laptop for mobile professionals

The ThinkPad T480s combines an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with 12GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD in a 14.0" IPS FHD matte display chassis weighing 2.9 lbs. It ships with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and includes a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard and ThinkPad UltraNav touchpad for secure, comfortable daily use.

Ready to deploy with minimal setup

Windows 7 Pro is pre-installed so the system boots to a familiar desktop immediately. The 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 port uses a USB-C connector for power, data and video through a single cable. Integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics handle standard business workloads without driver hunting.

Handles typical office suites and light multitasking

12GB RAM keeps dozens of browser tabs and productivity apps responsive while the 256GB SSD provides fast boot and application launch. Heavy video editing, large CAD assemblies or modern gaming exceed the integrated graphics and storage headroom. Buyers needing discrete GPU power or more than 256GB internal capacity should consider other configurations.
