X240 Business Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad X240 is a 12.5 inch business ultrabook that ships new with Windows 8.1 Pro installed. It runs an Intel Core i7-4600U processor with a 3.3 GHz maximum turbo frequency and 8GB of DDR3 memory. A 2TB solid state drive provides the primary storage.

Professionals needing a rugged touchscreen laptop

The carbon fibre roll cage and MIL-SPEC testing suit users who carry their device daily and value a spill-resistant backlit keyboard. Buyers who need more than two USB ports or a dedicated graphics processor should look at larger mobile workstations instead.

Straightforward deployment for IT teams

Windows 8.1 Pro is pre-loaded so the laptop is ready to join a domain after the initial setup wizard. The integrated battery requires a screwdriver to replace, so plan for depot service if the runtime degrades after several years.
