Business laptop with 4G WWAN

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a new 14-inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It combines an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD. The 1920 x 1080 IPS matte display, fingerprint reader and integrated 4G LTE WWAN support mobile professionals who need secure connectivity away from Wi-Fi.

Suited to frequent travellers; not for GPU workloads

This configuration suits people who work from multiple locations and value the built-in WWAN modem for always-on internet. The integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics handle office applications and video playback but cannot drive 3D rendering, modern gaming or intensive video editing. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance should look at a different class of machine.

256GB SSD capacity decides storage fit

The single decisive specification is the 256GB solid-state drive. It provides fast boot and application load times, yet the capacity fills quickly with large media libraries, virtual machines or offline project files. If your workflow demands more local space, you will need external storage or a model with a larger drive.
