ThinkPad T480s with 24 GB memory

This Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U processor running at 1.60 GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. It ships with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, 24 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 IPS matte display, fingerprint reader and integrated 4G LTE WWAN complete the core specification.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 24 GB memory and NVMe storage suit professionals who need a light 14.0-inch machine for multitasking and fast boot times on the move. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a larger display or a newer Windows version out of the box will not find those features here.

Deciding specification: 24 GB soldered DDR4

The 24 GB of DDR4 memory is soldered to the board and cannot be expanded, so the total capacity is fixed at the factory configuration. If your workflow demands more than 24 GB or user-upgradeable slots, this laptop will not meet that requirement.
