Check your software and peripheral needs

This unit ships with Windows 7 Professional, an operating system that no longer receives security updates, so plan an upgrade path before deployment. Verify that your essential applications support this OS or a newer replacement. The system provides four USB ports and Thunderbolt 3 via USB-C for docks or external displays, plus Bluetooth 4.1 for wireless accessories.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy OS support

This configuration fits users who require a lightweight, durable chassis with integrated WWAN for field work and a fingerprint reader for quick authentication. It is not suitable for buyers who need a modern supported operating system out of the box, those who want a touchscreen interface, or anyone requiring discrete graphics performance for heavy rendering or gaming workloads.
