ThinkPad T490 for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-8265U processor running at 1.6 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of memory and a 500 GB drive in a black chassis. The unit is supplied new and graded Excellent (Grade A), meaning a pristine screen and minimal body marks.

Suits daily office work; not for heavy graphics

This configuration suits professionals who need a reliable, portable machine for documents, email and web-based applications. The 8 GB memory and integrated graphics limit its usefulness for video editing, 3D rendering or modern gaming workloads. Buyers who need more storage or dedicated graphics performance should look at a different specification.

Choose the screen that matches your workflow

Five display options are offered for the 14.0-inch panel: HD 1366x768 TN at 220 nits; FHD 1920x1080 IPS at 250 or 400 nits; FHD 1920x1080 IPS multitouch at 300 nits; and WQHD 2560x1440 IPS at 500 nits. Selecting the right resolution, brightness and touch capability is the single decision that determines whether the laptop fits your daily viewing needs.
