Questions about this item

How long will the 24GB DDR4 memory last before it needs replacement?

The 24GB DDR4 memory is soldered and not user-replaceable, so it is designed to last the usable life of the laptop without a scheduled swap.

What limits the Intel Core i5-8265U during long rendering tasks?

The quad-core processor reaches its thermal ceiling under sustained load, causing clock speeds to drop from the 3.9 GHz turbo toward the 1.6 GHz base to stay within safe temperatures.

How hot and loud does the 14" chassis get when running all day?

The compact 14.0" body relies on a single fan; under continuous load the keyboard deck warms noticeably and the fan spins up to an audible level while the Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares the same heat pipes.
