Built for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14 inch FHD notebook powered by an Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core processor with a 4.6GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory soldered on board and a 256GB NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate business use.

Sustained performance on integrated graphics

The Intel UHD Graphics core handles everyday workloads and video playback without a discrete GPU. Under continuous load the U-series processor manages thermals within the thin chassis, so clock speeds settle below the peak turbo figure. The 2400MHz memory bandwidth supports steady multitasking across browser tabs, documents and conferencing apps.

Durable chassis with versatile ports

MIL-STD testing and a spill-resistant keyboard reinforce reliability during daily transport. A Thunderbolt port enables high-speed docks or external displays alongside HDMI output. The 720p webcam includes a physical privacy shutter, while the fingerprint reader adds biometric sign-in. Soldered memory means the 8GB capacity cannot be upgraded after purchase.
