ThinkPad T490s quad-core ultraportable

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490s is a 14.0-inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor running at 1.90GHz with 8 MB of L3 cache. It ships with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB PCIe solid-state drive. The non-touch IPS panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory.

Check memory and storage needs before ordering

The system provides 8 GB of soldered memory that cannot be upgraded after purchase. Verify that this capacity matches your workload before buying. The 256 GB PCIe drive is the only internal storage device; confirm it offers enough space for your applications and files. The display is a fixed non-touch FHD IPS panel, so touch input is not available. Ensure Windows 10 Pro meets your software licensing requirements.

Fits thin-and-light workflows

The compact 14.0-inch chassis keeps weight low for mobile professionals who prioritise portability. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday productivity, video playback and multi-monitor desk setups without a discrete GPU. The PCIe solid-state drive frees up internal space compared to traditional 2.5-inch drives and contributes to fast boot and application load times. Windows 10 Pro supports domain join and remote management for corporate environments.
