14.1-inch ThinkPad for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T540P is a 14.1-inch business laptop built for professionals who need a durable, portable machine running Windows 10 Pro. It combines a classic ThinkPad chassis with an Intel Core i7 4th Gen processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 for everyday productivity.

Dual-core i7-4600M at 3.00 GHz

The processor is a dual-core Intel Core i7-4600M running at 3.00 GHz, which determines whether this system matches the performance envelope required for typical office workloads and light multitasking. Buyers needing higher core counts for rendering or compilation should look elsewhere.

Sustained output with integrated graphics

Under continuous load the dual-core CPU and integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 share the thermal budget, so clock speeds will settle below the peak 3.00 GHz figure during extended sessions. The 512 GB SSD maintains steady throughput without the latency spikes of a mechanical drive.
