ThinkPad T560 15.6 inch business laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T560 is a 15.6 inch business laptop with a non-touch 1920 x 1080 IPS anti-glare display. It runs on a 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor reaching up to 3.0 GHz with 3MB cache. The system ships with Windows 10 Professional 64-bit pre-installed.

Suited for office work and mobile professionals

This configuration suits office productivity, web browsing and video conferencing with its HD 720p webcam, dual-array microphone and Dolby Audio Premium. The backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader and dual-battery design support mobile professionals. Buyers needing discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere, as the laptop relies on Intel HD Graphics 520.

Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520

The sole graphics engine is Intel HD Graphics 520 integrated into the processor. It drives the internal FHD panel and external displays via HDMI and Mini DisplayPort. No dedicated GPU option exists on this model, so 3D workloads are limited to light casual use.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 512 GB SSD or a smaller capacity for the ThinkPad T560?

The 512 GB solid-state drive gives ample room for the operating system, applications and large project files while keeping boot and load times fast.

What does the i5-6300U reaching 3.0 GHz mean for everyday work?

The dual-core processor can turbo to 3.0 GHz for short bursts, so office suites, web browsing and video playback stay responsive without sustained high heat.

What does the 802.11ac wireless cap in a real office?

The Intel 8260 2x2 802.11ac link delivers reliable throughput for cloud apps and video calls, limited mainly by the router and channel congestion.
