Convertible laptop for business professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 is a 14.0 inch touchscreen laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor with 8 cores and a 4.80GHz turbo frequency. Integrated Intel Arc graphics drive the 1920 x 1200 FHD+ panel at 60 Hz. The system includes 32GB of memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD in a grey chassis.

Suits mobile workers needing pen and touch input

This device fits professionals who want a convertible form factor with a fingerprint reader, 1080P IR camera, Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 ports. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, upgradeable memory or a higher refresh rate display should consider other options. The bundled Thunderobot 7 in-1 USB-C hub adds extra connectivity for peripherals.

32GB soldered memory defines multitasking ceiling

The 32GB RAM capacity is fixed and cannot be increased after purchase. This amount supports heavy multitasking across spreadsheets, browsers and business applications. If your workflow demands more memory than this, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How much fan noise or heat does the Core Ultra 7 258V generate during all-day use?

The 8-core Core Ultra 7 258V runs at up to 4.80 GHz with integrated Arc graphics inside a 0.64-inch thin chassis, so sustained workloads stay within the thermal envelope of a 2.97 lb ultraportable without loud fan ramping.

Which peripherals or cables must I already own to use the two Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI output?

The laptop provides two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and one HDMI port; you only need standard Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C cables for docks, drives or displays, plus an HDMI cable for external monitors — no proprietary adapters are required.

Will the Thunderbolt 4 ports work with my older USB-A hubs and monitors?

Yes — the system includes two 5 Gbps USB-A ports for legacy devices, while the Thunderbolt 4 ports accept USB-C adapters or docks that convert to USB-A, DisplayPort or HDMI for older peripherals.
