14.0" FHD 400 nits IPS ultraportable

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 is a 14.0 inch Windows 10 Pro laptop with a 1920 x 1080 anti-glare IPS panel rated at 400 nits. It runs on a 1.80 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 10th Gen processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics. The system ships with 16 GB of soldered LPDDR3 2133 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD in a thin and light black chassis.

Business users needing 16 GB soldered RAM

This configuration suits mobile professionals who want a bright 400 nits display, quad-core performance and 1 TB of solid-state storage in a lightweight design. Buyers who require upgradeable memory or a discrete graphics card should consider other options. The non-touch screen and lack of a backlit keyboard may also limit appeal for some workflows.

16 GB soldered LPDDR3 2133 memory

The 16 GB LPDDR3 2133 is soldered to the board and cannot be increased after purchase. This single specification decides whether the laptop meets your workload ceiling; if your applications demand more than 16 GB of RAM, this unit will not fit.
