Purpose-Built Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a 14.0-inch Windows 10 Pro laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-7500U processor that reaches 3.5 GHz. It ships with 8GB of memory and a 500GB SSD. The non-touch FHD IPS panel resolves at 1920 x 1080. A fingerprint reader and Bluetooth 4.1 are integrated for secure, wireless workflows.

Carbon-Fibre Chassis

Four layers of carbon-fibre reinforced material and a magnesium alloy roll-cage form the structure. The design meets 12 military-grade requirements and survives more than 200 durability tests while weighing 2.49 lbs. Four USB ports include Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C for data, video and charging. The ThinkPad UltraNav touchpad and a 720p webcam complete the daily interface.

Soldered Memory Limit

The 8GB of RAM is not upgradeable, so buyers who need more memory for virtual machines or large datasets must choose a different system. The 500GB SSD and Intel Core i7-7500U define the storage and compute ceiling for this unit.
