What this laptop is

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th generation is a 14.0 inch ultrabook running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor. It ships with 16GB DDR3 memory and a new 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Mobile professionals needing a lightweight 14 inch chassis with 16GB RAM and fast NVMe storage will find this configuration ready for office workloads and video calls. Buyers who want more storage capacity, a touchscreen panel or a discrete graphics processor should consider other models.

Memory ceiling that defines the purchase

The system supports a maximum of 16 GB and has zero free memory slots, so the installed 16GB DDR3 cannot be expanded. Confirm this ceiling meets your workload before ordering.
