What it is

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 is a 14-inch business laptop with a WUXGA IPS touch display, Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor, 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB Nvme SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a three-year warranty in a carbon-fibre and aluminium chassis.

Who it suits

Mobile professionals who value a light 1.08 kg design, touch input and 400-nit 100% sRGB colour accuracy for presentations or creative review will benefit. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, additional memory slots or a larger screen should look elsewhere.

Capacity and headroom

The single 32GB DDR5-6400 module and 2TB Nvme drive handle heavy multitasking and large local datasets comfortably. The 57Wh battery and 65W USB-C adapter provide a finite runtime ceiling for sustained high-load work away from power.
