Purpose-built mobile workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 is a 14.0-inch laptop built on the Intel Evo vPro platform. It pairs an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor with 16 GB of soldered LPDDR4x memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. Integrated Iris Xe graphics drive the 1920 x 1200 IPS panel at 400 nits. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Verify memory and port needs

The 16 GB LPDDR4x 4266 MHz memory is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded after purchase. Confirm that this capacity meets your workload before ordering. The chassis uses a redesigned one-bar hinge and rear ventilation, so check that your existing dock or sleeve accommodates the updated profile. The 3.00 GHz quad-core CPU and integrated graphics target business applications rather than heavy 3D rendering.

Security and input refinements

A fingerprint reader integrated with the power button enables single-touch login and boot. Human-presence detection locks the device automatically when you step away. The 16:10 FHD+ display offers more vertical space than traditional 16:9 panels. A wider TouchPad improves navigation precision, while the larger battery extends unplugged runtime for mobile professionals.

Questions about this item

Does the 512 GB SSD come installed or must I buy storage separately?

The 512 GB PCIe SSD is already fitted inside the laptop so no separate storage purchase is needed.

Should I pick the 16 GB LPDDR4x 4266 MHz version or a higher-capacity option?

Memory is soldered at 16 GB LPDDR4x 4266 MHz and cannot be upgraded later, so choose this capacity if it meets your workload.

What does the 400 nits rating on the 14.0 inch 1920 x 1200 IPS panel mean for daily use?

The 400 nits anti-glare screen stays readable in bright offices or near windows without needing maximum brightness.
