ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 — Business Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 is a 14-inch business ultrabook running Windows 7 Professional. It combines a carbon-fibre reinforced chassis with a magnesium alloy roll-cage tested against twelve military-grade requirements. An Intel Core i7-7500U processor reaches 3.5 GHz alongside eight gigabytes of memory and a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD.

Suited to legacy Windows 7 workflows

This laptop suits professionals who must run Windows 7 Professional for certified applications or compatibility testing. The WQHD IPS panel delivers 2560 x 1440 resolution for detailed document work. Buyers needing a touchscreen, a modern operating system or more than eight gigabytes of memory should consider alternatives.

The 14-inch non-touch screen provides a 2560 x 1440 IPS panel as the primary visual specification. Its pixel density determines text clarity and multi-window usability for the target legacy workloads. Verify that the resolution and panel type match your docking and external-monitor requirements before purchase.
