It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes the OEM charger. The touch display and light 14 inch chassis serve executives and field staff who annotate documents or present on the move. Sixteen gigabytes of RAM handles typical office multitasking smoothly. Buyers who need larger local storage capacity or a higher resolution panel should look at other configurations, as this unit is fixed at 256GB and 1080p.

Fixed 256GB SSD Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 256GB solid-state drive. It cannot be upgraded after purchase on this model, so the buyer must confirm that the operating system, applications and active project files fit comfortably within that space before committing.

Questions about this item

Does the included 65 W USB-C charger power the i7-8665U laptop on its own?

Yes, the OEM power supply shipped with the unit is the only charger required to run and charge the ThinkPad X1 Carbon.

Will my older USB-A mouse and HDMI monitor work with the 14" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen model?

The laptop provides legacy USB-A and HDMI ports so existing peripherals connect without adapters.

How can I confirm the 16 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Windows Settings > System > About to see 16 GB installed RAM, then check File Explorer for a 256 GB system drive.
