14-inch WQHD Ultrabook with WWAN

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 is a 14-inch business laptop combining a carbon-fibre chassis, Intel Core i7-7600U processor up to 3.9 GHz, 8 GB memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 7 Professional and includes a 4G LTE WWAN card for mobile broadband connectivity. Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C provides 40 Gbps data and charging.

Suited for mobile professionals needing LTE

This device suits professionals who require always-connected productivity on a 2.49 lb platform with a 2560 x 1440 IPS display and fingerprint reader. Buyers needing a touchscreen, larger memory capacity, or a current Windows release should consider other options. The 8 GB RAM is soldered and not upgradeable.

2 TB NVMe SSD decides storage fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 2 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. It sets the total high-speed capacity available for the operating system, applications and working files. Users with larger local datasets will need external storage or a different system.
